On Wednesday, July 25 YSI was fortunate to participate in the Philadelphia Phillies’ Christmas in July game. For the second year in a row YSI staff stood alongside Phillies ball girls in front of the left-field gate to Citizens Bank Park collecting toys from attendees.

We were lucky enough to receive 13 giant bags full of toys – everything from Barbie dolls to baseball mitts – that we’ll give away to YSI children and youth in December during this year’s Holiday Giving Program. YSI was also happy to see that staff members Russell Olive and Adam Safer were featured on the Phillies’ website and Facebook page.

Many thanks to the Phillies organization and Community Outreach Representative Ryan Hayes for inviting us to participate in the event – good luck for the rest of the season!
