Administrative Assistant

Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Employment Status: Full-time regular

Program – Dept/Location: Fiscal & Operations

Job Summary: Provide administrative, secretarial, and receptionist support for efficient operation of Agency main office.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate degree, high school diploma; or a GED with equivalent combinatio of training, education and experience
  • 2-3 years administrative support work experience
  • Must be proficient in use of Microsoft Office
  • Computer literate with competency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook) programs; proficiency in data entry and development of forms and templates
  • Detailed oriented with good proofreading and editing skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to respond in a positive manner to the public and appropriately to people served
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize work load
  • Prior experience in a social service agency preferred.

Food Service Worker

Job Title: Food Service Worker

Employment Status: Part-time regular Saturday & Sunday

Program – Dept/Location: Youth Emergency Service

Job Summary: Perform duties and tasks pertaining to preparation and serving/arrangement of food and beverage items provided to residents at the shelter. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma/GED equivalent
  • ServSafe Food Manager Certification required
  • Experience or training in foods and food preparation is preferred
  • Must be knowledgeable of the operation and care of kitchen equipment
  • Effective verbal and written communication sills and techniques

Job Summary: Deliver culturally competent home based case management services to families following family empowerment program standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Social Work or another human service field
  • Must have two years experience delivering services to youth and families.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Requires general knowledge and understanding of entering data in computer database systems.
  • Requires valid drivers license and own vehicle.
