Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to delineate safety, risk and well-being of families

Job Title: Referral Intake Worker*

Program – Dept/Location: Family Empowerment Service

Job Summary: Conduct intake and comprehensive family assessment using Family Advocacy and Support Tool (FAST).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in social work or another human service field or a Bachelor of Social Work degree with five years family and children service work experience
  • Demonstrated skill in identifying parental protective capacity and safety threat to children
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Competent knowledge and understanding of entering data in computer database systems
  • Own vehicle and valid drivers’ license

Job Title: Child Care Worker*

Employment Status: Part-time (On-Call for Weekdays)

Program – Dept/Location: Crisis Nursery-West Philadelphia

Job Summary: Provide childcare services for children birth to five years.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • 2 years child care work experience required; in a daycare setting preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to assist with childcare activities and housekeeping/cooking chores.

Job Summary: Deliver culturally competent home based case management services to families following family empowerment program standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or another human service field.
  • Minimum 2 yrs experience delivering services to youth and families.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge and ability to enter data in computer database systems.
  • Valid drivers license and own vehicle.
