Family Case Manager

Job Title: Family Case Manager*

Employment Status: Full-time regular

Program – Dept/Location: Truancy Prevention and Intervention

Job Summary: Work collaboratively to maintain consistency in delivering strengths-based case management services to families with children at high risk for or already referred to Regional Truancy Court.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work or other human services field required
  • Must have 2 years experience delivering services to youth and families
  • Knowledge of truancy issues and community resources preferred
  • Prior home visiting experience, and work with school staff preferred
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Requires general knowledge and understanding of entering data in computer database systems
  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle required

Youth Care Worker

Job Title: Youth Care Worker*

Employment Status: Part-time regular

Program – Dept/Location: Youth Emergency Service

Job Summary: Supervision of youth residing in emergency shelter.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma/GED
  • 1-2 years work experience with  adolescents
  • Ability to mentor and guide with patience
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid drivers’ license required

Job Title: Supervisor*

Program – Dept/Location: Family Empowerment Services

Job Summary: Supervise program staff in accordance with program stands. Assist staff with contact and intake for referred families accepting services.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in human services, MSW preferred; or a
  • Master’s degree in a non human service field with appropriate human service experience.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to follow program stands, conduct family intake; and locate needed community resources.
  • Requires effective verbal and written communication skills; and is computer and database literate
  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle required

Job Summary: Establish contact, build and maintain ongoing relationships, support, and act as an advocate for runaway and homeless street youth.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in  human services
  • Minimum two years experience in street work with youth
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • General knowledge and understanding of entering data in computer database systems
  • Ability to work early to late evening hours
