Case Manager

Job Title: Case Manager*

Program – Dept/Location: Family Empowerment Service

Job Summary: Deliver culturally competent home based case management services to families following family empowerment program standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or another human service field.
  • Minimum 2 yrs experience delivering services to youth and families.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge and ability to enter data in computer database systems.
  • Valid drivers license and own vehicle.

Supervisor, Runaway Homeless Youth

Job Title: Supervisor , Runaway Homeless Youth*

Employment Status: Part-time (21 hrs- 3 days per week) regular

Program – Dept/Location: Runaway Homeless Youth -Youth Emergency Service

Job Summary: Manage and supervise staff of the Runaway Homeless Youth program.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Social Work or a comparable human service field
  • 2 years working experience with children or family services
  • Must have 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Must have effective verbal and written communication skills; and be computer and database literate.
  • Must have valid driver’s license.

Food Service Worker

Job Title: Food Service Worker*

Employment Status: Full-time regular

Program – Dept/Location: Youth Emergency Service

Job Summary: Perform duties and tasks pertaining to the operation and serving/arrangement of food and beverage items provided to shelter residents.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must have ServSafe certificate.
  • Experience or training in foods and food preparation.
  • Knowledge of the operation and care of kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work as a team member in coordination and delivery of prepared meals.

Job Title: Bilingual Family Case Manager*

Program – Dept/Location: Truancy Prevention & Intervention

Job Summary: Deliver strengths-based case management services to families with children at high risk for or already referred to Regional Truancy Court.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work or another human service field.
  • 2 years work experience which includes home visiting experience in the field of family and childrens’ services.
  • Family work experience which includes school staff preferred.
  • Must have bilingual Spanish skills with effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • General knowledge and ability to enter data in computer database systems required.
  • Must have valid drivers license and own vehicle.

Administrative Assistant

Job Title: Administrative Assistant*

Employment Status: Full-time regular

Program – Dept/Location: Fiscal & Opperations

Job Summary: Provide administrative, secretarial and receptionist support for efficient operation of Agency main office.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate degree; High School diploma; or a GED with equivalent combination of training, education and experience.
  • 2-3 years administrative support work experience.
  • Computer literate with competency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook) programs; proficiency in data entry and development of forms and templates.
  • Detailed oriented with good proofreading and editing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to respond in a positive manner to the public and appropriately to people served.
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize work load.
  • Prior experience in a social service agency preferred.
