Residential Shift Supervisor

Job Title: Residential Shift Supervisor

Employment Status: Full-time regular

Program – Dept/Location: Youth Emergency Service

Job Summary: Supervision of Youth Care Workers on assigned shift; provides direction and support to maintain the health and safety of clients and staff; performs youth care worker duties and tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or other comparable field.
  • Minimum of three years work experience serving youth.
  • Demonstrated  strong work ethic, proven organization/multi-tasking ability and solid problem solving skills.
  • Must have effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Abitlity to use a computer system.
  • Requires supervisory experience and knowledge of children/adolescent development is required.

Valid drivers license and own vehicle are required.

Job Title: Community Outreach Worker*

Program – Dept/Location: Runaway and Homeless Youth

Job Summary: Provide social work services to RHY Basic Center youth and their families.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of one year experience working with youth and/or families and minimum one year community outreach experience.
  • Requires training in harm reduction or trauma informed care.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have general knowledge and understanding of entering data in computer database systems.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Job Summary: Implementation and quality assessment and review of the Runaway and Homeless Youth Tracking Project.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a Master’s degree in social work.
  • Experience working with youths and/or families.
  • Proven experience with data collection and analysis.
  • Must have good organizational and planning skills.
  • Requires effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid computer skills with knowledge and understanding of entering data in computer database systems required.
