Family Case Manager

Job Title: Family Case Manager*

Employment Status: Full-time regular

Program – Dept/Location: Truancy Prevention and Intervention

Job Summary: Work collaboratively to maintain consistency in delivering strengths-based case management services to families with children at high risk for or already referred to Regional Truancy Court.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work or other human services field required
  • Must have 2 years experience delivering services to youth and families
  • Knowledge of truancy issues and community resources preferred
  • Prior home visiting experience, and work with school staff preferred
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Requires general knowledge and understanding of entering data in computer database systems
  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle required

Supervisor, Residential Program

Job Title: Residential Shift Supervisor

Employment Status: Full-time regular

Program – Dept/Location: Youth Emergency Service

Job Summary: Responsible for the overall operation of daily living aspects of shelter care; includes, development and coordination of resident activities; and supervision of residential staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or other comparable field.
  • Requires Supervisory experience in a residential setting and five years work experience serving youth.
  • Demonstrated  strong work ethic, proven organization/multi-tasking ability and solid problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of 3800 regulations and experience with trauma informed care with knowledge of developmental milestones.
  • Must have good organizational and project management skills
  • Must have effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer and database literate

Valid drivers license is required.

Job Title: Youth Care Worker*

Program – Dept/Location: Youth Emergency Service

Job Summary: Supervision of youth residing in emergency shelter.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma/GED
  • 1-2 years work experience with  adolescents
  • Ability to mentor and guide with patience
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid drivers’ license required

Peer Counselor

Job Title: Peer Counselor*

Employment Status: Part-time – early and late evening hours

Program – Dept/Location: Street Outreach

Job Summary: Advocate for and assist in establishing contact, building and maintaining relationship with runaway and homeless street youth.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED; Associate’s Degree preferred
  • Must be over 18 with the ability to work early to late evening hours
  • Life experience and knowledge of runaway and homeless street youth
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with computers and database entry
