Family School Liason

Job Title: Family School Liaison*

Employment Status: Full-time regular

Program – Dept/Location: Truancy Prevention and Intervention

Job Summary: Work collaboratively to maintain consistency in delivering services to families with children identified at high risk for truancy

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in social work or comparable human services field with minimum two years work experience in the field of family and children’s services; or
    • Bachelors Degree in social work or comparable human services field with five years work experience in the field of family and children’s services.
  • Prior home visiting experience, and work with school staff preferred
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle required

Youth Care Worker

Job Title: Youth Care Worker*

Employment Status: Part-time regular

Program – Dept/Location: Youth Emergency Service

Job Summary: Supervision of youth residing in emergency shelter.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma/GED
  • 1-2 years work experience with  adolescents
  • Ability to mentor and guide with patience
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid drivers’ license required

Program – Dept/Location: Crisis Nursery

Job Summary: Provide childcare services for children birth to five years.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2 years child care work experience required; in a daycare setting preferred
  • Ability and willingness to assist with childcare activities and housekeeping/cooking chores.
